**How did Mabelleray Soap get its start?**

Hi there! I’m Michelle, and I’m excited to introduce myself! I come from Asian descent. One day, I stumbled upon goat milk soap, which is really popular here. I asked my husband about it, and he told me that goat milk is fantastic for the skin and can work wonders for eczema. This intrigued me, especially since I hadn’t heard much about it back in my country. So, I dived into some reading, watched tons of YouTube videos, and picked up a few books on soap-making. In 2018, I rolled up my sleeves and started crafting my very own goat milk soap. The first batch I made was a Pumpkin Goat Milk Soap, and I was amazed at how wonderfully it lathered and left my skin feeling so smooth! I also whipped up some Lavender Body Butter for my husband to help with his dry skin. Since he’s diabetic, his skin tends to be flaky, and I wanted to create something to keep his skin soft without feeling greasy.

What inspired the name Mabelleray Soap?
Well, “Mabelle” means “lovable dear,” and it’s such a beautiful name that I can’t help but love it! “Ray” is my husband’s name, so it felt just right to combine the two to create Mabelleray Soap. I initially started selling my soaps at the flea market, and it warmed my heart to receive so many lovely compliments from everyone. Since then, my product line has expanded to include not just goat milk soap and body butter, but also body wash, shampoo bars, and more! I’ve even ventured into selling at festivals and craft events.
